Secret Societies
Every member has been preassigned to one of four Secret Societies plotting to Take Over The World. We should stress that this is in no way binding - taking over the world is optional; and if you do decide to take part, you will be able to select a different Secret Society now, or join the Secret Society of your choosing at an event on the Friday of the Convention.
If you want to switch to another Secret Society, or indeed if you want to opt-out and not be in a secret society at all, you can edit your assignment.
Society of Questers after Esoteric and Arcane Knowledge, aka SquEAK
The members of SQuEAK heard somewhere that knowledge is power and they've been on a quest ever since to rule the world by becoming really well informed. SQuEAK's patron is the Death of Rats. This was due to a misunderstanding, but the partnership seems to be working well. It's amazing how much people let slip when you're only four inches tall... especially when you can be everywhere at once.

Furthering an ancient tradition of preserving order, the need for which has existed since the dawn of disorder, the Ancient and Honourable Fraternal Order of Watchpersons (formerly of Watchmen, but this is after all the Year of the Justifiably Defensive Lobster) serves to support the community of Watchbeings, fire enforcement, contraction and insurance personnel, private security contractors, and acute healthcare practitioners. We have supporting agreements with the Guild of Apothecaries, the Quirm chapter of Pyromaniacs Anonymous, and an ongoing feud with the Society of Non-Affiliated Cat Burglars. Own blue lights welcome.
