Many hands make lights work. Also cameras, sound, video, the stage…
As has been said many times -- the convention runs on volunteers, and not just for the heating. Some of those volunteers sit, stand, roll and crawl behind the scenes, helping create the magic via their technical witchery. If that sounds like fun, come along to the briefing and you too can help out during the con. No experience necessary, training is provided.

Our theme for this foray into the tantalisingly obscure and arcane is, of course, all about dragons. or Guards. Or maybe Guarding Dragons.

Poor Life Choices - Create Your Own Storytelling

Patrician's Palace : 22:30 - 00:00 (1.5 hours)

James Webster has been writing about magic and dragons since he was very little. And he's not just saying that to appease the Dragon King!
Despite his affinity for dragons, he’s probably more like a golem. Only he’s made out of words and someone was daft enough to let him write his own chem.
His book of short fiction, Heroine Chic, is published by Inspired Quill. He recently placed 3rd in Hammer & Tongue’s National Poetry Slam. You can find his work online at strangelittlestories.tumblr.com. And he’ll be performing his CYOA storytelling show (Poor Life Choices) after the gala dinner."
